A little more about me and how I work.

I’m a BACP-registered counsellor with experience supporting people through grief, trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties and significant life changes. I have a particular interest in grief, loss and the unexpected changes in life that can leave us trying to make sense of a future that looks different from the one we had imagined.

For me, therapy is about creating the time and space to understand yourself more deeply, not only what you are feeling, but where those feelings may come from and how past experiences and relationships may have shaped you.

Infertility & Childless Not by Choice

A particular area of my work is supporting people experiencing infertility and being childless not by choice. Fertility treatment, unsuccessful IVF, early menopause and facing a future without the children you had hoped for can bring a profound and often misunderstood form of grief.

Alongside my professional training, I have personal experience of infertility, fertility treatment and facing a life without children. While everyone’s experience is different, my own has given me an understanding of how complex this path can be and how difficult it can sometimes be to find a space where the less easily spoken-about feelings are understood.

My Training

I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have also completed specialist foundation training in infertility counselling with the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA).

Working Together

I believe the relationship you have with your counsellor is an important part of therapy. I won’t tell you what to do or judge the choices you make. My role is to listen, to be curious with you and to help you explore feelings and experiences that may be difficult to make sense of alone.

Above all, I hope to offer a space where you feel heard, understood and able to be yourself.
