Supporting Your Clients

Counselling for involuntary childlessness, infertility & fertility loss

I offer counselling for women experiencing the impact of involuntary childlessness, infertility and unsuccessful fertility treatment, with a particular focus on the grief and adjustment that can come when treatment has ended or the hoped-for path to parenthood has not been possible.

I welcome referrals and signposting from GPs, fertility clinics and other health and support services.

My Focus

My work focuses on the emotional and psychological impact of involuntary childlessness, infertility and unsuccessful fertility treatment.

I have a particular interest in supporting women who are coming to terms with fertility treatment not working or ending, and the grief and adjustment that can come with facing a future without the children they had hoped for.

I also support women experiencing involuntary childlessness for reasons other than infertility. A diagnosis of infertility or a history of fertility treatment is not necessary to work with me.

I can support clients with

  •  Childlessness not by choice

  •  Grief & loss

  •  Unsuccessful fertility treatment

  •  Identity & sense of self

  •  Coming to terms with treatment ending

  • Relationship difficulties

  •  Infertility & POI

  • Early menopause

  • Anxiety & wellbeing

  • Involuntary childlessness, whatever the circumstances
